1. Introduction

At VexoFX, we take your privacy seriously. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and protect your personal data when you use our platform.

By using VexoFX, you consent to the collection and use of your information as described in this policy. If you do not agree, please do not use our Service.

2. Data We Collect

We collect the following types of information:

Account Information:

  • Email address
  • Full name
  • Password (stored securely as a hash — never in plain text)
  • Country (optional)

Usage Data:

  • IP address and approximate location
  • Browser type and operating system
  • Pages visited and time spent on the platform
  • Actions taken within the terminal (analysis runs, watchlist changes)
  • Timestamps of logins and activity

Billing Information:

  • Payment is processed by Stripe. We never see or store your full credit card number.
  • We receive a Stripe customer ID and subscription status to manage your account.

3. How We Use Your Data

We use your data to:

  • Provide, operate, and improve the Service
  • Manage your account and subscription
  • Send you important emails (payment confirmations, security alerts, subscription reminders)
  • Respond to support requests
  • Detect and prevent fraud or abuse
  • Comply with legal obligations

We do not sell your data to third parties. We do not use your personal information for advertising purposes.

4. Cookies

VexoFX uses essential cookies and similar technologies to keep you signed in and to remember your preferences (such as the last symbol you viewed). These cookies are necessary for the platform to function properly.

You can disable cookies in your browser settings, but doing so will prevent you from staying logged in.

5. Third-Party Services

We work with the following trusted third parties:

  • Stripe — payment processing. Stripe Privacy Policy →
  • Twelve Data — market data provider. Only the symbols you request are sent to their API. No personal data is shared.
  • Hostinger — hosting infrastructure. Your data is stored on servers in the EU.

Each provider is bound by its own privacy policy and is contractually required to protect your data.

6. Data Retention

We retain your account data as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we will delete or anonymize your personal data within 30 days, except where retention is required by law (e.g., billing records for tax purposes).

Server logs and analytics data are retained for up to 90 days.

7. Your Rights (GDPR)

If you are a resident of the European Union, you have the following rights under GDPR:

  • Right to Access — request a copy of your personal data.
  • Right to Rectification — correct inaccurate data.
  • Right to Erasure — delete your account and data.
  • Right to Restrict Processing — limit how we use your data.
  • Right to Data Portability — receive your data in a machine-readable format.
  • Right to Object — object to processing of your data.

8. Security

We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your data, including:

  • Encrypted connections (HTTPS/TLS)
  • Password hashing with industry-standard algorithms
  • Regular security reviews
  • Access controls and monitoring

However, no system is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security of data transmitted over the internet.

9. Children's Privacy

VexoFX is not intended for individuals under 18 years of age. We do not knowingly collect data from children. If we learn that we have collected data from a person under 18, we will delete it immediately.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Material changes will be communicated via email or a notice on the platform.
